This is one of those smoothies that feel like a meal. A good idea for breakfast or any time during the day. These berries are packed with antioxidants and so high in vitamin C (way more than oranges!). A liquid potion that’s good for your heart and boosts your immune system. The Manuka honey is a magic little healer and flaxseed is such a good way of getting your fibre intake and omega-3 fatty acids. You can add a scoop of your favourite protein (tip: don’t think chocolate would go too well in here hehe) to boost it up a little. Entirely up to you ๐Ÿ™‚

Makes one serving

Strawberry Smoothie Ingredients:

A handful of fresh strawberries

1/2 a banana (you can put a whole one also)

A handful of frozen berries

1 teaspoon Manuka honey

1 tablespoon Greek yoghurt

1 tablespoon oats

A sprinkle of milled flaxseed

2 teaspoons flaked almonds

Any milk (I used a dairy free coconut rice water mix)

Scoop of protein powder (optional)



Add the fruit to your blender, then the rest of the ingredients and finally the milk (when putting the teaspoon of honey, try aim it in the middle of the blender so that it doesn’t stick to the sides ๐Ÿ™‚ ). Blend away!
